FCC REGISTRATION AND REPAIR INFORMATION

Your new product has been registered with the Federal Communication Commission
(FCC). This product complies with standards in Part 68 of the FCC Rules. This
product is Hearing Aid Compatible and Volume Control is in compliance with FCC
Part 68 and the Hearing Aid Compatibility Act. The FCC requires us to provide you
with the following information:
Note: the TS-400 telephone is intended for use only behind a TalkSwitch PBX.

CONNECTION AND USE WITH THE NATIONWIDE TELEPHONE NETWORK

The modular telephone outlet or jack to which the telephone must be connected
is a USOC RJ-11C or RJ-11W. The TS-400 telephone has a ringer equivalence
number (REN) of 1.9B

REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS

If it is determined that your telephone equipment is malfunctioning, the FCC
requires that it not be used and that it be unplugged from the modular outlet
until the problem has been corrected. Repairs to the telephone equipment can
only be made by the manufacturer or its authorized agents or by others who
may be authorized by the FCC. For repair procedures, follow instruction outlined
under the "Limited Warranty".

INTERFERENCE INFORMATION: PART 15 OF FCC RULES

Some telephone equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio-frequency
energy and, if not installed and used properly, may cause interference to radio
and television reception.
Your product has been tested and found to meet the standards for a Class B
digital device, as specified in Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to
the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful
interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received,
including interference that may cause undesired operation.
These specifications are designed to provide reasonable protection against such
interference in a residential installation. However, there is no guarantee that
interference will not occur in a particular installation.
