The Procont LMC can be linked with up to 20
®

external meters.

The Procont LMC-LITE can be linked with up to 8
®
external meters.
The connection is made via M-Bus / Modbus-RTU
or Modbus-TCP.

M-Bus meters can be read out and recorded via:
· The RS-232 interface, by a level converter
· Ethernet, using an Ethernet/M-Bus converter,
Meters with a Modbus connection can be read
and recorded via:
· The RS-485 interface
· Ethernet, by means of a "Modbus/Ethernet"
gateway
Note: The Ethernet variant is particularly suitable
for more remote meters that can be connected to
the controller via the (company) network.
Proceed as follows to create a Modbus meter:
1.) Select meter and switch to Modbus or MBus
2.) Set type of interface
3.) Enter address of the meter
4.) Select type of meter
