Breaking mirror
You may have to break a mirror when changing a failed disk.
Follow the procedures below to break the mirror of volumes.
The procedures to break a mirror on C drive are discribed here.
1.
Click [Start] - [Administrative Tools] - [Computer Management]. The [Computer
Management] window will appear.
2.
Right-click the volume of the dynamic
disk whose mirror is to be broken and
click [Break Mirrored Volume...].
3.
Click [Yes] on the [Break Mirrored Volume] dialog box.
4.
Click [OK] on the [Logical Disk Manager] dialog box. (This dialog box is not displayed for
data volume.)
