How CPU modules appear on Task Manager
Intel Xeon processor introduces a new technology called Hyper-Threading Technology. It is a
technology that makes the operating system see a single processor performing as two logical
processors.
Task Manager shows logical processors using the Hyper-Threading Technology. As shown below,
information for the processors of twice the number of physical processors on one module is
displayed.
