First Time Deployment Options

There are different options for first time deployment of your Small and Medium Business (SMB)
gateways:
• First Time Configuration Wizard - For more information, see the

• Zero Touch Cloud Service

SD Card (1200R and 1400 appliances)
Zero Touch Cloud Service
The Zero Touch Cloud Service lets you easily manage the initial deployment of your gateways in
the Zero Touch portal https://zerotouch.checkpoint.com/ZeroTouch/login.jsp. When a gateway is
connected to the internet for the first time, it fetches the settings automatically.
The settings from the Zero Touch server replace the First Time Configuration Wizard. After the
gateway downloads and successfully applies the settings, it does not connect to the Zero Touch
server again.
