8.3 Operation via HMI
Result
After successful charging, you can retrieve summarized information on your charging process
in the "Settings (Page 83) > Last charging report (Page 85)". This information depends on the
selected charging port and the available tariff information.
Remove the charging cable from the vehicle.

HMI functions
You are guided through the charging process via the user interface. You can change the
language of the user interface and make other settings.
Menu bar
The menu bar is available during the entire charging process.
The menu bar consists of the following elements:
If an event generates an alert (Page 86), the information is displayed in the menu bar.
• Date and time
The time is factory set to the UTC time zone. When the charging station is connected to
the Internet, the time is synchronized. Information on how to set the time manually can
be obtained from your Siemens partner.
To go to the general settings (Page 84), press this display element.
To change the language of the user interface (Page 83), press this element.
8.3.3.2

Start screen

The start screen offers an overview of all charging points of the charging station including
their respective status. These status messages are possible:
• Free: Charging point available
• Connected: Vehicle is connected but no charging process is started or active
• Initialization: Communication with the vehicle is being established.
• Waiting for authentication: Waiting for the user authorization or the approval of the
backend
• Establishing connection: The charging station checks whether the safety requirements are
fulfilled
• Charging: A charging process is active at the charging point
• Error: An error is pending at the charging point. Charging is not possible at this charging
point.
• Deactivated: No communication between charging station and, for example, a Dispenser,
or the Dispenser is configured incorrectly.
