Activating/deactivating the hazard warning lights
Press button 1.

The hazard warning lights will switch on automati-
cally if:
the airbag has been deployed.

the vehicle brakes are applied heavily from a
R
speed of more than 70 km/h to a standstill.
When you pull away again, the hazard warning
light system will switch off automatically at
approximately 10 km/h. You can also switch off
the hazard warning light system using the warning
lamp button.
Removing the fire extinguisher

A fire extinguisher may impede pedal travel or
block a depressed pedal.
This jeopardises the operating and road safety
of the vehicle.
The fire extinguisher can be flung around and
injure the driver or other vehicle occupants.

Removing the safety vest
The high-visibility waistcoats are located in the
glove compartment when delivered.
Pull out the safety vest bag by the loop.
