Enter the characters on the Touch Control or on
the touchscreen. Character input can be started
with a control element and resumed with another.
When the keypad is shown, enter the charac-

Control or by tapping on the touchscreen.

Examples for character input include the global
search, entering a navigation destination or the
renaming of a favourite, for example.
The touchscreen supports character input with
the following functions:

acters are read aloud.
