Overview of configurations

7.4.1.1

Configuration with up to 16 HDD/SSD modules

SAS HDDs must not be populated above or below BC-SAS/BC-SATA
HDDs. In order to avoid this configuration, please make a free bay
intentionally. For example, if only one SAS drive or one BC-SAS/BC-
SATA drive is ordered, this drive will be installed in position 0 and
position 1 will not be used.
SAS HDDs and BC-SAS/BC-SATA HDDs can be mixed as long as SAS
drives are not populated above or below BC-SAS/BC-SATA HDDs. The
same kind of HDDs can be populated above or below each other.
