Enabling Camera Friendly Color mode

Some digital camera equipment presents the images generated by Christie laser products with a
noticeable red shift. These images do not represent how human vision perceives the projected image
and are an effect of the camera charge couple device (CCD) but do not reflect the images generated
by Christie laser products.
To mitigate this, enable the Camera Friendly Color mode so the target white-point is set to a cooler
color temperature. This significantly reduces the observed effect and Christie recommends using this
mode for sites wanting to take photographs of the projected images. The target Camera Friendly
White x and White y settings default to an appropriate value but can be modified in MENU > Admin >
Service > Light & Output Settings.
1. From the display panel, select MENU > Admin > Service.
2. Enter the service password.
3. Select Light & Output Settings.
4. To enable the Camera Friendly Color mode, select Camera Friendly Color Mode > On.
If you only want to enable or disable Camera Friendly Color mode without changing the White
x and y values, navigate to Configuration > Light & Output Settings.
5. To set the white color targets, enter the required Camera Friendly White x and Camera
Friendly White y values.
The default value is determined to improve the red-hue issue.
