Installing The Oil Pump Assembly - Yamaha XVS950CU 2014 Service Manual

TIP
When installing the inner rotor, align the pin in
the impeller shaft with the grooves "a" in the in-
ner rotor.
Oil pump housing screw
8 Nm (0.8 m·kgf, 5.8 ft·lbf)
3. Check:
• Oil pump operation
Refer to "CHECKING THE OIL PUMP" on
page 5-73.

INSTALLING THE OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY

1. Install:
• Oil pump assembly
Oil pump assembly bolt
24 Nm (2.4 m·kgf, 17 ft·lbf)
ECA1TP1021
NOTICE
After tightening the bolts, make sure the oil
pump assembly turns smoothly.
