Onboard Indicators

Dedicated IPMI LAN LEDs
A dedicated IPMI LAN is also located
on the I/O back panel. The amber LED
on the right indicates activity, while the
green LED on the left indicates the
speed of the connection. See the table
at right for more information.
BMC Heartbeat LED
A BMC (Baseboard Management
Controller) Heartbeat LED is located
at BMC_HB_LED1. When BMC_HB_
LED1 is blinking, BMC is functioning
normally. See the table at right for
more information.
Onboard Power LED
The Onboard Power LED is located
at LED2 on the motherboard. When
this LED is on, the system is on. Be
sure to turn off the system and unplug
the power cord before removing or
installing components. See the table
at right for more information.
HDD LED
An HDD LED indicator, located at
HDD_ LED1 on the motherboard,
indicates the status of onboard hard
drive disks including SATA devices.
When HDD_ LED1 is blinking, all
o n b o a r d H D D s a r e f u n c t i o n i n g
normally. See the table at right for
more information.
