Chapter 1 Introduction Overview The SuperServer 6018R-TD is a 1U server comprised of two main subsystems: the SC813TS-441CBP chassis and the X10DRD-L serverboard. Please refer to our website for information on operating systems that have been certified for use with the system (www.supermicro.com).
Serverboard Features Server Chassis Features At the heart of the SuperServer 6018R-TD lies the X10DRD-L, a dual processor The following is a general outline of the main features of the SC813TS-441CBP serverboard based on Intel's C612 chipset. Below are the main features of the chassis.
Chapter 2: Server Installation Chapter 2 Server Installation Overview This chapter provides a quick setup checklist to get your system installed into a rack. Be aware of the warnings and precautions mentioned in this chapter when installing the server into a rack. Unpacking the System You should inspect the box the server was shipped in and note if it was damaged in any way.

First, determine how far follow the server will extend out the front of the rack.
Chapter 3: System Interface Chapter 3 System Interface Overview There are several LEDs on the control panel as well as others on the hard drive carriers to keep you constantly informed of the overall status of the system as well as the activity and health of specific components.
Chapter 3: System Interface UPER ERVER 6018R-TD User's Manual Control Panel LEDs The control panel located on the front of the SC813TS-441CBP chassis has five LEDs. These LEDs provide you with critical information related to different parts of the system. This section explains what each LED indicates when illuminated and NIC2 any corrective action you may need to take.
Only certified technicians should attempt to install or configure components. Read this appendix in its entirety before installing or configuring components in the Supermicro chassis.
