Replace the lubricators
Introduction
You can replace the lubricators without service assistance. The operator panel gives an orange
warning when you can replace the lubricators.

Before you begin
Use Colorado M-series prescribed:
• Microflex gloves for handling ink
• Bracket with two lubricators and pins (2x)
• Torx-20 screwdriver
• Lint free cloth (optional)
NOTE
For information on the prescribed maintenance materials, see
maintenance materials on page
CAUTION
Wear the prescribed gloves when contact with ink or maintenance materials is possible. Gloves
should always overlap sleeves. Follow the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) guidelines carefully in
order to ensure maximum safety.
Procedure
1. On the operator panel tap on the [Tools] icon on the right.
2. Tap on [You should replace the lubricators].
3. Tap on [Replace].
4. Move to the media input side and open the top cover.
5. Put on the Colorado M-series approved gloves.
