Operation of the device
The Zoom function is available as in Pupil mode (5, Fig. 46) which can
easily be identified by the magnifying glass symbol.
As soon as you tap on the Zoom button, a pop-up window will
open. Here you can select single (1x), double (2x) or triple (3x)
image magnification.
Now select the desired magnification level. The enabled
magnification factor will be displayed in blue.
The device automatically adjusts the image in each magnification
level.
Close the pop-up window by tapping again on the Zoom button.
After closing the pop-up window, the selected magnifying factor is
displayed beside the magnifying glass symbol (Fig. 46).
If you want to discard the image, press the measuring button on the
joystick once (6, Fig. 3). A query is displayed if you want to discard the
image really. This message can be suppressed by changing the device
settings in the Interface/User/User interaction menu (see page 95).
As soon as you have confirmed by pressing the Discard button, the
device returns to the live image mode (Fig. 45). Now you can take the
image again.
After you have captured the image and approved it, you can tap the
Confirmation button (4, Fig. 46). The image will be stored together
with the illumination parameters set for the image (see also Fig. 44).
If required, take other pictures of this or a second eye according to this
procedure.
For each eye two images can be captured and stored. If you want
to capture more than one image per eye, the older image will be
overwritten and replaced by the new one.
If you want to display a measurement result in the review screen, tap on
the Review button.
