    General Information HFA3 System Overview The Humphrey Field Analyzer 3 Models 830, 840, 850 and 860 are automatic perimeters that employ standard automated perimetry technology for measurement of the visual field of the human eye.     WARNING: To prevent electric shock, the instrument must be plugged into an earth grounded outlet. Do not remove or disable the ground pin. Only an authorized Carl Zeiss Meditec service representative may install the instrument. WARNING: Do not use the printer or the instrument or the power table with an extension cord or a power strip (multiple portable socket outlet).

    General Information System Fuse Replacement The Humphrey Field Analyzer 3 instrument is a modular system with each major subsystem possessing its own power fuses. WARNING: Only ZEISS Field Support Engineers are authorized to diagnose power problems and replace fuses. Tampering with fuses on the Humphrey Field Analyzer 3 instrument voids all warranties and liabilities.

    With the aid of color filters, it is also used to create red and blue stimuli for color testing. If needed, you may order a new lamp by calling the Carl Zeiss Meditec Parts Department and asking for: P/N 266002-1106-082 (Projection Lamp).
