The Eject/Unlock? option unlocks the library door and ejects a
cartridge from the tape drive. See
page 41 for more information about opening the library door
Caution: Do not press Previous, Next, Select or Enter
until the backup or other tape operations are stopped
at the host. Pressing these buttons while other
operations are executing may result in operation or
drive failure.

Eject Cartridge?
Unloads the
cartridge from the
tape drive and
reports on drive
status
Unlock Door?
Ejects any
cartridge that is in
the drive, then
unlocks the
library door
