4. Click the [Recording] tab in the WINDOWS "Sound"
window.
5. Click [Microphone], then click the [Properties] button.
The microphone properties will open.
6. Click the [Levels] tab.
If the microphone input is muted, click the icon " " on
the right side of the slider to cancel mute " ".
7. Press the PTT switch of the transceiver connected to the
PC and adjust the microphone level while talking with a
normal voice level.
Make the waveform as large as possible while the wave-
form displayed on the waveform monitor does not exceed
the dotted line or the peak of the waveform does not col-
lapse.
