Time Display Format
Defines the URL or IP address of the NTP server. The phone may obtain the current date and time
information from the server. The default setting is "pool.ntp.org".
This allows the user to configure interval for updating time from the NTP server. Valid value is between 5
and 1440 minutes. If set to 0, it will follow the default update rules. Default value is 0.
Obtains NTP server address from a DHCP server using DHCP Option 42; it will override configured NTP
Server. If set to "No", the phone will use configured NTP server to synchronize time and date even if a NTP
server is provided by DHCP server.
The default setting is "Yes".
Obtains time zone setting (offset) from a DHCP server using DHCP Option 2; it will override selected time
zone.
If set to "No", the phone will use selected time zone even if provided by DHCP server. The default setting is
Yes.
Enable/Disable Custom Time Zones.
Note: in order to be able to enable Custom Time zones, DHCP Option 42 and DHCP Option 2 needs to be
disabled.
This option is disabled by Default.
This parameter allows the users to define their own time zone.
The syntax is: std offset dst [offset], start [/time], end [/time]
Default is set to: MTZ+6MDT+5,M4.1.0,M11.1.0
MTZ+6MDT+5
This indicates a time zone with 6 hours offset with 1 hour ahead (when
daylight saving) which is U.S central time. If it is positive (+) if the local time
zone is west of the Prime Meridian (A.K.A: International or Greenwich Meridian) and negative (-) if it is
east.
M4.1.0,M11.1.0
The 1st number indicates Month: 1,2,3.., 12 (for Jan, Feb, .., Dec)
The 2nd number indicates the nth iteration of the weekday: (1st Sunday, 3rd Tuesday...)
The 3rd number indicates weekday: 0,1,2,..,6( for Sun, Mon, Tues, ... ,Sat)
Therefore, this example is the DST which starts from the First Sunday of
April to the 1st Sunday of November.
Configures the Tme zone manually by configuring the below parameters :
1. UTC Time Zone Name: Set the UTC time zone name.
Example:
● Use letters to define time zone names, such as MSK;
● Defines the time zone name in the <> format, such as <+1245>.
2. UTC Offset: Set the UTC time zone offset.
● Offset is negative for time zone following UTC and positive for time zone leading UTC (-12 to +14).
● Set the offset minute to 0/15/30/45.
3. DST Time Zone Name: Set the DST time zone name.
Example:
● Use letters to define time zone names, such as MSK;
● Defines the time zone name in the <> format, such as <+1245>.
4. DST Offset: Set the DST time zone name.
Example:
● Use letters to define time zone names, such as MSK;
● Defines the time zone name in the <> format, such as <+1245>.
5. DST Type: Set Daylight Savings Time by day, by Julian day or by week.
6. Start & End Months: Starting and ending settings by month for the time zone.
7. Start & End by Week: Starting and ending settings by week for the time zone.
8. Start & End Times: Starting and ending times for the time zone. If set to empty, the start time and end
time will all be 02:00 by default.
Specifies which format will be used to display the time.
It can be selected from 12-hour and 24-hour format.
