Connecting and Setting Up the GXV3350 The GXV3350 can be installed on the desktop using the built-in stand or attached on the wall using the slots for wall mounting.

    Cleaning the Phone For daily dust removal and fingerprint removal, please use the screen cleaning cloth in the factory package to wipe the phone. Before you clean the touchscreen, we recommend turning cleaning mode on, so that you will not activate phone functions while wiping the touchscreen.

    Time based: Set the time range and number to be forwarded the calls to. In this time range, calls are forwarded to the number specified in “In Time Forward To“; out of this time range, calls are forwarded to the number specified in “Out Time Forward To“.

    Preferred Internet Protocol: Selects which Internet protocol to use. When both IPv4 and IPv6 are enabled, phone attempts to use preferred protocol first and switches to the other choice if it fails. IPv4 Settings: Here user can configure the IPv4 address type for both data and VoIP calls. For network configuration of data, if DHCP is selected, the phone will get an IP address automatically from the DHCP server in the network.

    Specifies the time interval, in seconds, between successive LLDP-MED transmission cycles Layer 3 SIP QoS This field defines the layer 3 QoS parameter for SIP packets.     Enable Allows the phone system to use the session timer, when set to “Yes”, it will be added in the SIP INVITE Session message to notify the server. Timer Configures the phone system’s SIP session timer. It enables SIP sessions to be periodically “refreshed” via a SIP request (UPDATE, or re-INVITE).

    Configures the default ringtone. If set to “yes”, the incoming alert info header from the SIP Ignore Alert-Info header server will be ignored and default configured ringtone will be played. The default setting is “No”. Specifies the rules for the incoming calls. If the incoming caller ID or Alert Info matches the number, pattern or Alert Info text rules, the phone will play the selected distinctive ringtone.
  • Page 33 Configures the phone system to authenticate the SIP INVITE message from the Authenticate Incoming INVITE remote party. If set to “Yes”, the phone will challenge the incoming INVITE for authentication with SIP 401 Unauthorized response. The default setting is “No”. Configure this item to validate incoming INVITE, but you must enable authenticate incoming INVITE first to make it take effect.

    Call Settings This feature is used for BroadSoft / Metaswitch call feature synchronization. When it’s set to BroadSoft / Feature Key Metaswitch, DND and Call Forward features can be synchronized with BroadSoft / Metaswitch server. The Synchronizat call forward function will take effect on the server side while the local call forward function is not effective. The default setting is “Disable”.

    UPGRADING AND PROVISIONING The GXV3350 can be upgraded via TFTP/HTTP/HTTPS by configuring the URL/IP Address for the TFTP/HTTP/HTTPS server and selecting a download method. Configure a valid URL for TFTP, HTTP or HTTPS; the server name can be FQDN or IP address. Examples of valid URLs: firmware.grandstream.com/BETA fw.mycompany.com...

Upload Firmware Locally If there is no HTTP/TFTP server, users could also upload the firmware to the GXV3350 directly via Web GUI. Please follow the steps below to upload firmware to GXV3350 locally.

    FACTORY RESET Restore to Factory Default via LCD Menu Warning Restoring the Factory Default Settings will delete all configuration information on the phone. Please backup or print all the settings before you restore to the factory default settings. Grandstream is not responsible for restoring lost parameters and cannot connect your device to your VoIP service provider.
