Description
On
A connected host computer will treat the Internal Memory of the SKX PRO as an external Mass
Storage device. You can Load or Save files from/to the instrument's Internal Memory.
Off
The USB TO HOST Port will transmit and receive MIDI Data.
If you wish to use the Internal Memory of the SKX PRO, select On. This will allow you to access the SKX PRO's
Internal Memory from a computer connected to the instrument via the USB TO HOST port.
Your host computer will now recognize the SKX PRO's Internal Memory as a Mass Storage device
and assign it a drive letter as if it were a USB Flash Drive, HDD/SSD disk, or SD card. The drive
letter assigned will be an "open" drive letter not currently in use by your computer or other Storage
Devices connected to your computer.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The SKX PRO's Internal Memory contains a number of folders and sub-folders
needed for performing various operations (shown below). DO NOT re-name or delete these folders or
attempt to format the Internal Memory from your computer. Doing so may cause a serious malfunction.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not disconnect the USB connection from the SKX PRO while Mass Storage
is set to On. Select Off for Mass Storage, then disconnect the USB cable from the SKX PRO.
