nect a ground wire from the genera-
tor equipment grounding terminal to
bare metal on the vehicle frame as
shown.

Use GFCI protection when operat-
ing auxiliary equipment. If unit does
not have GFCI receptacles, use
GFCI-protected extension cord. Do
not use GFCI receptacles to power
life support equipment.

Metal Vehicle Frame
Connect cable from equipment ground
terminal to metal vehicle frame. Use #8
AWG or larger insulated copper wire.

Electrically bond generator frame to ve-
hicle frame by metal-to-metal contact.

Stop engine and wait for
blow down before servicing
compressor.
Depending on the desired com-
pressed air quality, air conditioning
components such as separators,
filters, dryers, or air reservoir may
be required.
No check valve should be installed.
Obtain hoses of the proper length
and type with appropriate fittings for
the installation.
Hose Requirements:
Hose ID: 0.5 in. (12.7 mm)
Minimum Working Pressure: 350
psi (2.41 MPa)
Minimum Burst Pressure: 1400 psi
(9.65 MPa)

Air Compressor Connection

Grommet
Air compressor connection and
grommet are located in shipping
bag.
Remove plug from side panel. In-
stall supplied grommet in hole. Con-
nect supplied JIC fitting to air hose
and route through grommet up to
compressor outlet. Connect fitting
to compressor outlet and tighten to
40 ft lb.
