Stop engine.
NOTICE − Do not run engine with-
out air cleaner or with dirty element.
Engine damage caused by using a
damaged element is not covered by
the warranty.
1 Precleaner
Wash precleaner with soap and wa-
ter solution. Allow precleaner to air
dry completely.
Spread 1 tablespoon SAE 30 oil
evenly into precleaner. Squeeze
out excess oil.
2 Element
Replace element if damaged, dirty,
or oily.
