11-8. Voltmeter/Ammeter Error Displays

Use the Voltmeter/Ammeter error displays to diagnose and correct fault conditions.

When an error is displayed, normally weld output has stopped but generator power output may be okay.

To reset error displays, stop unit and then restart.

Description
Reload software.
Have factory authorized service agent
check ID resistor in harness.
Fill fuel tank.
Have factory authorized service agent
check CAN signals from UI.
Wait for unit to cool down.
Manually clear short between electrode
and work.
Clear obstruction from fan. Reconnect
the fan.
Have factory authorized service agent
check thermistor connection.
Have factory authorized service agent
check thermistor connection.
Cycle power to clear error.
Cycle power to clear error.
Cycle power to clear error.
Cycle power to clear error.
Check CB1. Check for generator power.
Have factory authorized service agent
check power to PC1, and connections
between PC1 and PC3.
Remove Stick or Tungsten electrode
from workpiece, and output will turn
