5 INSTALLATION
Fuel
WARNING!
TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM FIRE:
Do not fill the fuel if the engine is hot and allow it to cool down.
Fill the fuel tank in a well-ventilated area free from ignition sources.
Do not smoke near the fuel tank.
Do not turn on the engine when the odour of fuel is in the air.
1. Clean and remove the fuel cap.
2. Fill the fuel tank to about 1 inch under the fill neck with fresh gasoline that has been
treated with a fuel stabilizer additive. Follow fuel stabilizer manufacturer's
recommendations for use. Check the fuel level indication.
3. Then install the fuel cap again.
4. Remove any spilled fuel before starting the engine

NOTE!
Do not use gasoline that has been stored in a dirty fuel container. It can cause
particles to enter the carburetor, affecting the engine performance and/or causing
damage.
Do not use gasoline containing more than 10% ethanol (E10). Do not use E85
ethanol.
