7.2 Anomalies and Solutions

Anomalies
Possible reason
1.Power grid voltage below
No display when
2.DC accessory power supply
the power is ON
3. Charging resistor damaged.
1.Short circuit in the inverter's
input side;
Power trip
2. Exiguous air switching
capacity.
1.Incorrect wiring;
2.Error setting of operation
Motor doesn't run
mode;
3. Overload or motor stalled.
-124-
Corrective Actions
Check input phase wiring for loose
contacts.
Return to the factory.
1. Check parameter settings (P116)
and AVI/ACI wiring.
2. Check for possible fault between
system response time and the PID
feedback signal detection time
(P123)
Solutions
1. Check power grid voltage.
2. Seek service.
3. Seek service.
1. Check wiring or seek service.
2. Expand air switching
capacity.
1. Check wiring.
2. Reset the operation mode.
3.Reduce loads or regulate
motor's status.
Chapter 7 Common Fault & Anomalies and Solutions
Anomalies
Possible reason
Error phase sequence of motor
Motor reverses
wiring.
1.Improper setting of
acceleration /deceleration
time;
2.Under setting of over
Motor acceleration
current stall points;
/deceleration
3.Over-voltage stall prevention
enabled;
fails
4.Improper setting of carrier
frequency or oscillation
occurred;
5. Overload.
1.Excessive fluctuation of
loads;
Motor's speed
2.Under setting of motor's
fluctuation while
overload protection
coefficient;
at constant speed.
3. Loose contact of frequency
setting potentiometer.
-125-
Solutions
Swap random two phases of
the output terminals U, V and
W.
1. Reset acceleration/
deceleration time.
2. Increase setting value for
over-current stall point.
3.Extend deceleration time
or reduce load inertia.
4.Reduce carrier frequency
5. Reduce load or replace an
inverter with higher power
level.
1. Reduce load fluctuation.
2. Increase overload
protection coefficient.
3.Replace the potentiometer
or seek service.
