About This Motherboard
The Supermicro X13DSF-A supports dual 4th Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors
(in Socket E LGA 4677) with four Ultra Path Interconnects (UPIs) (16 GT/s max.) and a thermal
design power (TDP) of up to 270W per socket (Non-HBM). Built with the Intel C741 chipset,
the X13DSF-A contains 32 DIMM slots to support up to 8TB memory capacity with 32 DIMMs
of 256Gb 3DS RDIMM/RDIMM DDR5 ECC memory. This motherboard features superior I/O
expandability and flexibility, including two GenZ x16 slots (PCIe 5.0), 12 PCIe 5.0 x8 MCIO
NVMe connectors (with support of 24 NVMe x4 devices), four SATA 3.0 connections via one
SlimSAS connector, two PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe / SATA 3.0 hybrid M.2 slots (with support of
M-Key 2280 and 22110), two USB 3.0 connections via one header, two PCIe 5.0 x16 AIOM
connectors (OCP 3.0 SFF compliant; for rear I/O support), and one SlimSAS connector for
Supermicro AOM-DSF-IO rear I/O module. It also offers the most advanced data protection
capability that provides Trusted Platform Module (TPM) and hardware Root of Trust (RoT)
support. The X13DSF-A is optimized for future PCIe specifications using the cutting edge
technology for storage, networking, and GPU/FPGA (optional) support. It is ideal for use in
enterprise servers with storage head-node, visualization, and storage application of High
Performance Computing (HPC). Please note that this motherboard is intended to be installed
and serviced by professional technicians only. For processor/memory updates, please refer
