CPU C6 Report
Select Enable to allow the BIOS to report the CPU C6 State (ACPI C3) to the operating
system. During the CPU C6 State, the power to all cache is turned off. The options are
Disable, Enable, and Auto. (ACPI is the abbreviation for Advanced Configuration and
Power Interface.)
Enhanced Halt State (C1E)
Select Enable to enable "Enhanced Halt State" support, which will significantly reduce the
CPU's power consumption by minimizing CPU's clock cycles and reduce voltage during
a "Halt State". The options are Disable and Enable.
Package C State Control
Package C State
Use this feature to optimize and reduce CPU package power consumption in the idle
mode. Please note that the changes you've made in this setting will affect all CPU cores
or the circuits of the entire system. The options are C0/C1 state, C2 state, C6 (non Re-
tention) state, C6 (Retention) state, No Limit, and Auto.
CPU1 Core Disable Bitmap / CPU2 Core Disable Bitmap
Available Bitmap:
This feature displays the available bitmap.
Disable Bitmap
Enter 0 to enable this feature for all CPU cores. Enter FFFFFFFFFFF to disable this feature
for all CPU cores. Please note that at least one core per CPU must be enabled. Disabling
all cores is not allowed. The default setting is 0.
Hyper-Threading [ALL]
Select Enable to use Intel Hyper-Threading Technology to enhance CPU performance. The
options are Enable and Disable.
Hardware Prefetcher
If this feature is set to Enable, the hardware prefetcher will prefetch data from the main system
memory to Level 2 cache to help expedite data transaction to enhance memory performance.
The options are Enable and Disable.
Adjacent Cache Prefetch
Select Enable for the CPU to prefetch both cache lines for 128 bytes as comprised. Select
Disable for the CPU to prefetch both cache lines for 64 bytes. The options are Enable and
Disable.
