Flat-jet method: Changing the spray jet width

1. Change the spray jet width by selecting the appropriate nozzle.
2. By turning the air regulation (1), the spray jet can additionally be adjusted (IC variant).
3. Increase or decrease shaping air (EC variant).

4 By gently turning the nozzle nut (2), the atomizing air jet can additionally be adjusted.
ð Do not completely tighten the nozzle nut:
Do not turn the nozzle nut (2) until it is flush with the nozzle body (3). There must be
play for the atomizing air between the nozzle nut and the nozzle body.
Flow rate
The flow rate can be reduced by:
1. Minimizing the product pressure.
2. Using a different nozzle size (see chapter Accessories [8 69]).
7.5 PRESSURE RELIEF / WORK INTERRUPTION
The pressure must always be relieved:
– after the spraying tasks are finished,
– before servicing or repairing the spraying system,
– before carrying out cleaning tasks on the spraying system,
– before moving the spraying system to another location,
– before something must be checked on the spraying system,
– Before the valve seat is replaced on the spray gun.
