Status key operation
The STATUS key displays the current chiller or sys-
tem operational status. The messages displayed in-
clude running status, cooling demand, system faults,
unit faults, VSD faults, unit warnings, external device
status, load limiting, anti-recycle timer, status of unit/
system switches, and a number of other messages.
Pressing the STATUS key will enable the operator to
view the current status of the chiller. The display will
show one message relating to the "highest priority" in-
formation as determined by the microprocessor. There
are three types of status data, which may appear on the
display:
• General status messages
• Unit safeties
• System safeties
When power is first applied to the control panel, the
following message displaying YORK International
Corporation, the EPROM version, date, and time will
be displayed for 2 seconds, followed by the appropriate
general status message:
(C)2004 YORK INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION
C.XXX.XX.XX 18-SEPT-2010 12:45: AM
JOHNSON CONTROLS

Section 8 - Micropanel

Unit status messages occupy 2 lines of the Status mes-
sage display. If no unit status message applies, individ-
ual status messages for each system will be displayed.
Any time the STATUS key is pressed or after the
EPROM message disappears at power-up, a status dis-
play indicating chiller or system status will appear.
Multiple STATUS messages may appear and can be
viewed by pressing the STATUS key repeatedly to al-
low scrolling through as many as three STATUS mes-
sages, which could possibly be displayed at any time
on a 2 compressor chiller.
Examples of the status messages are shown in the next
topic.
