Bar code Scanner
cleaning
Best reading results requires that the lens opening is cleaned free from foreign
objects such as dust, sand, leaves, excrements from birds, snow, ice, etc.
Regular checking of the Bar Code Scanner window is recommended.
If the window is damaged, replace it according

Location of the Bar Code Scanner
The Bar Code Reader is located next to the Pin Pad opening
Replacing the scanner
·
Power down the terminal
·
Disconnect the cable from the bar code scanner
·
Remove the cover
·
Remove the scanner by unscrewing the four marked screws
·
If needed remove the window.
Note:
The window is fixed in the door with Very Heavy Tape and will be hard to
remove. Press the window from the outside inwards
