Pre-printing on printer media

Pre-printing
There are a few guidelines that need to be followed to ensure operation:
·
Due to the heat developed during printing, the pre-print shall meet the
requirements applicable for pre-printing on paper intended for laser printing.
OCR-blind ink shall be used.
·
Ink used for pre-printing on the thermal side shall be non-abrasive.
·
The ink shall not smear while wound up on the supply roll, or during the
printing process.
·
Ink used for pre-printing in the black mark zone and in the centre of the paper
on the non-thermal side shall have no influence on the reflective IR-sensor.
OCR-blind ink shall be used.
·
pre-print is not recommended in the black mark zone on either side unless
the above conditions are met.
Print side
The tickets or receipts are printed on the black mark side.
Paper low Black marks
The printer uses two additional black marks to detect the end of the paper.
