5.9.6. WLAN Channels and World Mode
WLAN Channels and World Mode is only used for Client Mode.
NOTE
The maximum output power will be reduced on some channels depending on regulatory
requirements.
Which channels are available for WLAN communication is restricted by the regulatory domain where the unit is
operating.
Bridge II CAN supports regulatory domain detection according to the IEEE 802.11d specification.
The unit is initially set in World Mode which enables only the universally allowed channels in the 2.4 GHz and 5
GHz bands.
