Setting up and Installation
6.1 Scope of Delivery
The chop- and mitre saws KGZ 210 E und KGZ 255 E
are supplied with the following parts:
- Saw blade (mounted)
- Screw clamp
- Dust bag
- Operating Instruction

Setting up and Installation
WARNING!
To avoid accidental starting, which could result in se-
rious injury, ALWAYS assemble all parts before
connecting the device to the electrical outlet.
The saw should NEVER be connected to a power sup-
ply when you are adding parts, adjusting, installing or
removing saw blades, or when not in use.
Make sure the power supply matches the voltage indi-
cated on the rating plate. Disconnect the power plug be-
fore performing any adjustments or maintenance.
7.1 Set up the Chop- and Mitre Saw
7.1.1Dust/Chip Extraction
Dust from materials such as lead-containing coatings,
some types of wood, minerals and metal can be harmful
to your health. Touching or inhaling the dusts may cause
allergic reactions and / or lead to respiratory infections of
the user or other persons. Certain dusts, such as oak or
beech dust, are considered carcinogenic, especially in
connection with wood treatment additives.
(Chromate, wood preservative). Asbestos-containing
materials may only be processed by professionals
Always use a dust collector or the provided dust bag
(17).
It is recommended to wear a P2 class respirator. In your
country, observe the relevant regulations for the materi-
als to be processed.
The dust / chips extraction can be blocked by dust, chips
or workpiece fragments:
- Switch off the device and unplug the power cord
from the power socket.
- Wait until the saw blade has come to a complete
stop.
- Determine the cause of the blockage and correct it.
