JT550 Series Inverter Manual
Chapter 3 Electrical Installation
•For the inverter of 45 kW and above, remove the jumper bar across terminals P1 /PR and (+) and install the
reactor between the two terminals.
e) Output Terminals of Inverter: U, V, W
•The specification and installation method of external power cables must comply with the local safety
regulations and IEC standards.
•The capacitor or surge absorber must not be connected to the output side of the inverter. Otherwise, it may
cause frequent errors or even damage the inverter.
•If the motor cable is too long, electrical resonance will be generated due to the impact of distributed
capacitance. This will damage the motor insulation or generate higher leakage current, causing over current
protection on the inverter. If the motor cable is greater than 100 m long, an AC output reactor must be
installed close to the inverter.
f)Terminal
PE:
•This terminal must be properly grounded. Otherwise, it may cause electric shock, malfunction or even
damage to the inverter.
•Do not connect the ground terminal to the neutral terminal of the power supply.
