Chapter 3 Electrical Installation

3.1 Electrical Installation

Three-phase AC power supply
Moulded Case Circuit Breaker
(MCCB) or earth leakage circuit
breaker
Electromagnetic contactor
AC input reactor
Noise filter on input side
Reliably ground the motor and the
inverter to prevent electric shock
●Do not install capacitors or surge suppressor on the output side of the inverter ,which will lead to a
breakdown or cause damage to the capacitor the surge suppressor.
●Input/Output (Major Loop) of the inverter contains harmonics, which may interfere with the communication
devices connected to the inverter. Therefore, anti-interference filters are recommended to install in order to
minimize the interference.
●Please refer to the selection manual of peripheral equipment for more details of peripheral devices and
options.
Chapter 3 Electrical Installation
Use within the allowable power supply specification
of the inverter
Select a proper breaker to resist large in-rush current
that flows into the inverter at power-on
To guarantee safety, use an electromagnetic contactor.
Do not use it to start or stop the inverter because such
operation reduces the service life of the inverter
Suppress the
high order
harmonic to
improve the
power factor
Reduce the
electromagnetic
interference on
the input side
