Possible Cause
- Input voltage too low or unstable
- Voltage losses due to incorrect cabling
- Input voltage too high
- Retarding torque too high
- Short-circuit or ground fault at the output

- Heat dissipation too low
- Ambient temperature too high
- Motor is overloaded

12. Error Diagnosis
Fault Remedy
- Check voltage suppply
- Check input line
- Check voltage suppply
- Connect braking resistor
- Determine exact cause and remove, next re-start
- Reduce torque
- Control cabling from the motor to the encoder system
- Let motor cool down
- Check PTC - line
- Observe correct installation

- Discharge motor
- Reduce torque limit (Parameter CP.9)
- Remove external error and actuate RESET
