Procedure
Step 1.
Install the fan cage assembly.

Align the fan cage assembly to the slots on both sides of the server, and lower it into the
server.
b.
Rotate the fan cage release latches down until they stop.
After you finish
1. Reinstall all the fans. See "Install a hot-swap fan" on page 94.
2. Reinstall all the full-length GPU adapters. See "Install a full-length GPU adapter" on page 114.
3. Reinstall the air baffle. See "Install the air baffle" on page 74.
4. Reinstall all the flash power modules. See "Install a flash power module" on page 100.
5. Reinstall the server cover. See "Install the server cover" on page 190.
6. Complete the parts replacement. See "Complete the parts replacement" on page 206.

Flash power module replacement

Use this information to remove and install the flash power module.
The flash power module protects the cache memory on the installed RAID adapter. You can purchase a flash
power module from Lenovo.
