After you finish
1. Reconnect all the required cables. See Chapter 3 "Internal cable routing" on page 47.
2. Reinstall the processor and the heat sink. See "Install a processor and heat sink" on page 183.
3. Reinstall all the memory modules. See "Install a memory module" on page 139.
4. Reinstall the CMOS battery. See "Install the CMOS battery (CR2032)" on page 78.
5. Reinstall the intrusion switch. See "Install the intrusion switch" on page 128.
6. Reinstall the fan cage. See "Install the fan cage assembly" on page 97.
7. Reinstall all the fans. See "Install a hot-swap fan" on page 94.

Update the machine type and serial number
After the system board is replaced by trained service technicians, the machine type and serial number must
be updated.
