VFNC3C ENGLISH MANUAL
Problem
Possible causes
 A data writing error occurs.
 Power supply is cut off during 
operation and data writing is aborted.
 The error occurred when various data
was written.
 A data reading error occurred.
 The control RAM is defective.
 The control ROM is defective.
 The control CPU is defective.
 The communication was broken off.
 The current detector is defective.
 The output current decreased to a low-
current detection level during operation.
 The input voltage (in the main circuit) is
too low.
 Over-torque reaches to a detection level
during operation.
 A ground fault occurs in the output cable
or the motor.
 The motor parameter , , ,
,  are not set correctly.
 The motor with the capacity of 2 classes
or less than the inverter is used.
 The output cable is too thin.
 The inverter is used for loads other than
those of three-phase induction motors.
 The motor is rotating.
 It may be a breakdown failure.
 The input voltage fluctuates abnormally.
 Over speed fault due to the overvoltage
limit operation.
 The input signal from VI is equal to or less
than the  setting.
 A communications error occurs between
control CPUs.
 The automatic torque boost parameter
 setting is too high.
 The motor has too small impedance.
 The control CPU is defective.
 The control CPU is defective.

NOT SUBJECTED FOR RESALE
Remedies
 Turn off the inverter, then turn it again. If it
does not recover from the error, make a
service call.
 Turn the power off temporarily and turn it
back on, and then try  operation
again.
 Write the data again. Make a service call
when it happening frequently.
 Turn off the inverter, then turn it again. If it
does not recover from the error, make a
service call.
 Make a service call.
 Make a service call.
 Make a service call.
 Check the remote control device, cables,
etc.
 Make a service call.
 Enable  (low-current detection).
 Check the suitable detection level for the
system (, , ).
 Make a service call if the setting is
correct.
 Check the input voltage.
 Enable  (undervoltage trip
selection).
 To take measures to momentary power
failure, set = or ,
Regenerative power ride-through control
f302 and Auto-restart control selection
f301.
 Enable  (over-torque trip
selection).
 Check system error.
 Check the cable and the motor for ground
faults.
 Set the left column parameters correctly
as a motor name plate and make an auto-
tuning again.
 Set the left column parameters correctly
as a motor name plate and make an auto-
tuning again.
 Then set f400=1, when trip occurs.
 Make an auto-tuning again after the
rotation of the motor stops.
 Make a service call.
 Check the input voltage.
 Install an optional braking module.
 Check the VI signal cable for breaks.
Also, check the input signal value or
setting of .
 Make a service call.
 Set a lower automatic torque boost
parameter  setting.
 Make an auto-tuning.
 Make a service call.
 Make a service call.
