Step 10: Install Upper Cross Brace and Knee Brace Rails

A. Install Upper Cross Brace Rail assembly, with the open side facing the pole, across the north
underside of the Module Support Rail assemblies. Place the 5/16” 18 x 7/8” bolts, flat washers and
flange nuts in the last hole in from the end of the Module Support Rails, as shown in Detail P The
ends of the Upper Cross Brace Rail should be the same distance in from the ends as the two main
Cross Rails are to the Module Support Channels. Torque to 144 in lbs (dry).
