B. Place the seam, where the 56” and 68” Module Support Rails meet, centered between the two
Cross Rail assemblies.
C. Place the inside edge of the PV module near the center of the Cross Rails (where the seam is
between the two connected Cross Rails). See Detail M. Move in or out to leave 1/2 of the desired
spacing between the two PV module columns (east to west). Spacing between the two columns is
typically around 1” but can be wider if there is enough space on the Cross Rails to catch the full
assembly (a wider gap will let more wind pressure through).
