6.5.3 REPLACING THE MAIN CIRCUIT BOARD

Included with the Replacement Kit:
• Main Circuit Board
• Six-pin Jumper
Additional Supplies Required:
• Phillips Screwdriver
• Slotted Screwdriver (smaller than 1/8")
• Retain 6-pin jumper from old board
WARNING: Electrical Shock Hazard: Disconnect the electrical supply before making repairs to the unit.
CAUTION: Electronic components used in this unit are subject to damage by static electricity. Use proper
static discharge and grounding precautions when servicing the equipment.
STEP 1 Remove the cover according to the instructions in Section 5.
STEP 2 Remove the circuit board from the groove in the unit base, and disconnect the four wire connectors
and the 8-pin jumper.
STEP 3 Remove the new circuit board from the static protective bag. Connect the four wire connectors and
the 6-pin jumper to the new circuit board as shown:
