6.14.1 REPLACING THE POLLEN FILTER
Part #362521
Included with the Replacement Kit:
• Pollen Filter (1 each)
WARNING: Electrical Shock Hazard: Disconnect the electrical supply before making repairs to the unit.
STEP 1
Remove the pollen filter by gently pulling from around
the edges.
STEP 2
Orient the new pollen filter with the notched edge
facing down, and gently tuck the edges in under the lip
of the unit.
NOTE:
Clean the pollen filters once per month, or more
frequently if necessary. Replace every six months.
To Clean the Pollen Filter:
Rinse the filter in a steady stream of running water. Squeeze out the water and rinse again. Repeat several
times. Air dry the filter on a rack for 8 to 12 hours or in a clothes dryer on high for 15 to 20 minutes. When
drying the filter with other articles, allow the filter to remain in the dryer throughout the entire drying cycle.
For additional information, refer to the patient instructions.
CAUTION:
THE FILTER MUST BE COMPLETELY DRY BEFORE USE.
NEVER PLACE A WET FILTER INTO THE REMstar UNIT.
