6.14.1 REPLACING THE POLLEN FILTER

Included with the Replacement Kit:
• Pollen Filter (1 each)
WARNING: Electrical Shock Hazard: Disconnect the electrical supply before making repairs to the unit.
STEP 1 Remove the pollen filter by gently pulling from around
the edges.
STEP 2 Orient the new pollen filter with the notched edge
facing down, and gently tuck the edges in under the lip
of the unit.
NOTE: Clean the pollen filters once per month, or more
frequently if necessary. Replace every six months.
To Clean the Pollen Filter:
Rinse the filter in a steady stream of running water. Squeeze out the water and rinse again. Repeat several
times. Air dry the filter on a rack for 8 to 12 hours or in a clothes dryer on high for 15 to 20 minutes. When
drying the filter with other articles, allow the filter to remain in the dryer throughout the entire drying cycle.

CAUTION: THE FILTER MUST BE COMPLETELY DRY BEFORE USE.
NEVER PLACE A WET FILTER INTO THE REMstar UNIT.
