While not part of preventive maintenance, user care by the patient includes:
Ultra-Fine Filter (optional): Replace once per month, or whenever visibly dirty.
When using the optional ultra-fine filter, the filter retaining ring or filter securing kit must be used to
secure the filter in place.
Pollen Filter (Reusable): Wash once per month, and replace every six months.
To wash the pollen filter, rinse the filter in a steady stream of running water. Squeeze out the water and
rinse again. Air dry the filter on a rack for 8 to 12 hours or in a clothes drier on high for 15 to 20 minutes.
When drying the filter with other articles, allow the filter to remain in the drier throughout the entire
drying cycle.
Cleaning the unit
Clean the exterior of the unit, as needed, with a soft cloth using warm water and a mild detergent.
