Bus termination
The RS485 bus must be terminated by a resistor network at both ends. For this purpose, set switch
S801 on the control card for "ON".

How to Connect a PC to the FC 300

To control the frequency converter from a PC,
install the MCT 10 Set-up Software.
The PC is connected via a standard (host/de-
vice) USB cable, or via the RS485 interface as
shown in the section
Programming Guide.

6.7.1. High Voltage Test
Carry out a high voltage test by short-circuiting terminals U, V, W, L
2.15 kV DC for one second between this short-circuit and the chassis.

voltage (PELV) and other high-
voltage terminals. The USB con-
