Microboard
JP23 - Remote Current Limit Setpoint (J22) type. Con-
fi g ures analog input for 0-10VDC, 2-10VDC,
0-20mA or 4-20mA.
OUT: Allows a 0-10VDC or 2-10VDC input on
J22-1
Pins 1-2: Allows a 0-20mA or 4-20mA input on
J22-2
Pins 2-3: Not Used
JP24 - Remote Leaving Chilled Liquid Temp Setpoint
(J22) type. Configures analog input for
0-10VDC, 2-10VDC, 0-20mA or 4-20mA.
OUT: Allows a 0-10VDC or 2-10VDC input on
J22-3
Pins 1-2: Allows a 0-20mA or 4-20mA input on
J22-4
Pins 2-3: Not Used
JP25, JP26 - Not Used
JP27 - COM 4 serial communications port. Con fi g ures
COM 4 port to be either RS-485 for Multi-Unit
Com mu ni ca tions (COM 4A) or RS-232 for
GPIC board (COM4B).
Pins 1-2: Enables port 4A. Allows an RS-485
con nec tion to Microboard J11 for Multi Unit
Com mu ni ca tions.
Pins 2-3: Enables port 4B. Allows an RS-232
connection to Microboard J2 for MicroGateway
com mu ni ca tions.
JP28 - PC-104 Port interrupt assignment. Assigns se-
lect ed PC-104 interrupt request to PIRQ7 on the
mi cro pro ces sor. Interrupt request se lec tions are
silk screened on the Microboard adjacent to the
pro gram jumper. Not used on YK chiller ap pli -
ca tions.
JP29 - PC-104 Port interrupt assignment. Assigns se-
lect ed PC-104 interrupt request to PIRQ6 on the
mi cro pro ces sor. Interrupt request se lec tions are
silk screened on the Microboard adjacent to the
program jumper. Future modem ap pli ca tion.
JP30 - PC-104 Port DMA assignment. Assigns se lect ed
PC-104 DMA request to PIRQ0 on the mi cro pro -
ces sor. DMA request selections are silk screened
on the Microboard adjacent to the pro gram jump er.
Not used on YK Chiller ap pli ca tions.
JP31 - PC-104 Port DMA assignment. Assigns se lect ed
PC-104 DMA request to PIRQ1 on the mi cro pro -

ces sor. DMA request selections are silk screened
on the Microboard adjacent to the pro gram
jump er. Not used on YK Chiller ap pli ca tions.
JP32 - PC-104 Port DMA acknowledge assignment.
Assigns selected PC-104 DMA acknowledge
to PDACK0 on the mi cro pro ces sor. DMA ac-
knowl edge selections are silk screened on the
Microboard adjacent to the pro gram jumper. Not
used on YK Chiller ap pli ca tions.
JP33 - PC-104 Port DMA acknowledge assignment.
Assigns selected PC-104 DMA acknowledge
to PDACK1 on the microprocessor. DMA ac-
knowl edge selections are silk screened on the
Microboard ad ja cent to the program jumper. Not
used on YK Chiller applications.
JP34 - Refrigerant type. Jumper must be positioned
according to the refrigerant type installed in the
chill er.
IN: R22
OUT: R134a
JP35 - Water/Brine application. Jumper must be po si -
tioned according to whether the chiller is cool ing
water or a brine solution.
IN: Water. Leaving chilled liquid temperature
setpoint range 38ºF (36ºF if Smart Freeze is
enabled) to 70ºF.
OUT: Brine. Leaving chilled liquid tem per a ture
setpoint range 10ºF to 70ºF.
JP36 - Steam Turbine or Electric Motor drive - De ter -
mines the "Coastdown" duration (Oil Pump run
du ra tion after shutdown) and whether the "Mo tor
Controller-Loss of Current" Program check is
per formed while the chiller is running.
IN: 150 seconds. Electric motor drive ap pli -
ca tions.
OUT: 15 minutes. Steam Turbine applications.
"Mo tor controller-Loss of Current" check is not
per formed.
JP37 - Compressor Motor starter type.
IN: Electro-Mechanical or Solid State Starter
OUT: Variable Speed Drive Program Jumper
JP39 must be IN for this application.
JP38 - BIOS EPROM U45 size. Jumper must be po si -
tioned according to size of U45. Jumper is a 10
