Replacement Microboards are supplied without the
BRAM (U52). Remove this device from the defective
board and in stall in the replacement board.
If defective board is equipped with Flash Memory
Card 031-01797-002 (except "P" compressors) or 031-
02073-002 ("P" com pres sors), trans fer this Card to the
re place ment board. If defective board is equipped with
Card 031-01797-001 (except "P" com pres sors) or 031-
02073-001 ("P"compressors), use Card sup plied with
replacement board.
If the Microboard is replaced within the Warranty Pe-
ri od, re turn the defective board along with any unused
Flash Memory Cards to YORK per the Warranty Re turn
Pro ce dure.
If Flash Mem o ry Card 031-01797-
001 is used, it must be a ver sion
C.MLM.01.04 or later (ie, .05, .06,
etc) to be used with BIOS Eprom (U45)
031-01796-002. Earlier ver sions will
not com plete the ini tial iza tion (boot-
up) process and the chill er will not
run.
IMPORTANT! Since the BRAM
mem o ry device con tains all of the
pro grammed setpoints and Sales Order
data, using the existing BRAM in the
re place ment Microboard elim i nates
the need to re-pro gram this ex treme ly
large amount of data. The pro cess to
man u al ly pro gram the Sales Or der
Data is ex treme ly time-consuming.
However, if the BRAM fails and
fi eld re place ment is nec es sary, follow
the pro ce dure in the "Sys tems Cal i -
bra tion, Ser vice Setpoints and Reset
Pro ce dures" sec tion of this book.
