Setpoints:
The following are the Setpoints and range of pro gram -
ma ble values. The DEFAULT value is shown in pa ren -
the ses. The De fault value is the recommended val ue and
should provide proper operation in most ap pli ca tions.
However, the Setpoint can be programmed to oth er val-
ues to com pen sate for local operating con di tions. Enter
Setpoints with pro ce dure that fol lows:
a. Hold Period - 30 to 120 min utes (30)
b. Close Per cent age - 5% to 15% (5%)
c. Min i mum Load - 0°F to 4°F (0°F)
d. Maximum Open – 25% to 100% (100%) (If com-
pressor code other than "P", applies to Flash
Memory Card version C.MLM.01.05.xxx and
later)
1. At the Keypad, login at SERVICE ac cess lev el us-
ing pass word 1 3 8 0.
2. Select HOT GAS BY PASS Screen from the COM-
PRES SOR Screen.
3. On the HOT GAS BYPASS Screen, press the
ap pro pri ate key to se lect the Setpoint to be pro-
grammed.
4. Using the nu mer ic Keypad keys, en ter the de sired
value.
5. Press ENTER (✔) key.
Manual Control:
The Hot Gas Valve can be manually controlled as
follows:
1. At the Keypad, log in at SER VICE access lev el
us ing password 1 3 8 0.
2. Select HOT GAS BYPASS Screen from the COM-
PRES SOR Screen.
3. On the HOT GAS BYPASS Screen, press the
OPEN or CLOSE keys as desired. Each time the
key is pressed, the valve position will be in creased
or de creased 5%. Press ing the AUTO key in vokes
au to mat ic op er a tion.
Pre-rotation Vanes Position Potentiometer
Calibration:
1. Place COMPRESSOR START/STOP switch in
the STOP-RESET po si tion (O) and wait un til the
SYS TEM COASTDOWN is com plete.
2. At the Keypad, log in at SER VICE access lev el us ing
password 1 3 8 0.
3. Select the PRE-ROTATION VANES CAL I BRATE
Screen from the COM PRES SOR Screen.

4. On the PRE-ROTATION VANES CAL I BRATE
Screen, press the START CAL I BRA TION key to
ini tiate the cal i bra tion. The CAL I BRA TION IN
PROGRESS and PRV OPEN ING LED will il lu -
mi nate and an open sig nal is ap plied the PRV. When
the feed back volt age from the An a log I/O Board,
via the RS-485 se ri al com mu ni ca tions link, stops
in creas ing for 25 sec onds, the Microboard as sumes
this is the ful ly open po si tion and logs this value as
the 100% po si tion. It then applies a close sig nal to
the PRV and il lu mi nates the PRV CLOS ING LED.
When the feed back volt age stops de creas ing for 25
sec onds, the Microboard as sumes this is the fully
closed po si tion and logs it as the 0% po si tion. These
end point volt ag es are stored in BRAM as the fully
closed and fully open po si tions.
The calibration can be terminated
at any time during the procedure by
press ing the CANCEL CALIB key. If
the PRV were pre vi ous ly cal i brat ed
suc cess ful ly, it will revert to using the
pre vi ous cal i bra tion val ues. If they
were not pre vi ous ly cal i brat ed suc cess -
ful ly, they will re main uncalibrated.
5. If the difference between the endpoint volt ag es is
not greater than 0.49VDC, "PRV CAL I BRA TION
FAILED" is dis played on the Hot Gas Bypass
Screen.
CHILLER STARTS AND OPERATING HOURS
RESET
The Number of Starts and the Operating Hours can be
reset to zero or preset to a desired num ber. However,
this should nev er be ar bi trari ly per formed. Use the fol-
low ing procedure:
1. At the keypad, login at ADMIN access level. This
password changes daily. Contact your local YORK
Service Offi ce.
2. Select OPERATIONS screen.
3. Press NUMBER of STARTS or OP ER AT ING
HOURS key as ap pro pri ate.
4. Using numeric keypad keys, enter desired num-
ber.
5. Press ENTER key (✔) key.
