Electrical system
Indication on Navigator always down: check the connector: if not OK, restore; if it is OK,
disconnect the two terminals from the sensor and check continuity to ground of PIN 1: if
there is no continuity, restore the cable harness; if there is, replace the sensor
Indication on Navigator always up: disconnect the terminals from the sensor and check if
there is continuity between the two PINS, with stand down: if there is continuity, replace the
sensor; if the circuit is open, it means that the brown/green cable from sensor PIN 2 to
VEHICLE connector PIN 70 is short circuit to ground: restore the cable harness
Bank angle sensor
(optional)
Function
It tells the vehicle position to the control unit
Operation / Operating principle
When the sensor is inverted, the circuit is closed
to ground: When the Marelli control unit detects
this ground connection, it does not enable start-up
or shuts off the engine.
Level in electrical circuit diagram:
Start-up enabling switches
Location:
on the vehicle: sensor placed in the
frame front niche.
connector: next to the sensor (2-ways
grey connector).
Electrical characteristics:
Sensor in vertical position: open circuit
(resistance: 62 kOhm)
Sensor inverted: closed circuit (con-
tinuity)
Pin out:
1. Ground connection
2. Voltage 5V
